King Midas and the Gold, First Reading L-1

This is a new title in the fantastic 'First Reading' series, aimed at children who are beginning to read. When good King Midas helps an elderly man find his way home he is granted his fondest wish to turn anything he touches into pure gold. At first, this gift seems like the most wonderful thing to have ever happened but he soon learns that you should be careful what you wish for.
